It takes you only 2 days to get married in Gibraltar!
All you need is come to Gibraltar in person with the required documents, swear an Affidavit before a Commissioner for Oaths or Notary Public and spend at least one night in a local hotel.
There are no requirements to your residency, nationality or citizenship whatsoever!
You need to present the originals of the following document:
-Passport
-Birth Certificate or Adoption Certificate
-Divorce Decree or Certificate of Annulment (if previously married)
-All Marriage Certificates (if previously married. Brides only)
-Death certificate (if applicable)
-Deed poll (if applicable)
-Proof of stay in Gibraltar for at least one night
All documents should be in English. Foreign language documents that are not multi-language certificates must be accompanied by an officially certified translation into English. We offer official certified translation if required.
All appointments should be made in advance.

Fee of 50.00 GBP for one document - Commissioner for OathsIn order to get married you must be able to satisfy the Registrar that you are able to do so by completing affidavits and signing them before a Commissioner for Oaths or a Notary Public.
As a registered Commissioner for Oaths, we can certify your Affidavits when you come to Gibraltar. (Included in our marriage package). - WitnessesFor all ceremonies there must be two other people present to witness that the legal vows have been spoken and to sign the register in the presence of the Registrar.
If you have a simple ceremony just for two of you and have no relatives or friends coming with you to Gibraltar, we can provide two witnesses for the ceremony for a fee of 50.00 GBP.
Prenuptial agreement
A prenuptial agreement (commonly referred to as a prenup), is a document in which a couple set out their rights to property, debts, income and any other assets purchased together or acquired individually before the marriage if their relationship eventually ends.
A prenup generally contains a listing of each partner's individual assets, indication of which individual assets will remain the property of each spouse in the event of a divorce, guidelines on how property acquired during the marriage will be divided in a divorce, stipulates the responsibility for debts acquired before and during the marriage, and some outline of spousal support such as alimony should the marriage end.
Our lawyer can assist you with the preparation of the prenup and make sure that many potential legal loopholes and issues are covered.
How to proceed
-It will take us at least two-three working days to prepare the draft of the Agreement .
-In most cases the Agreement should be signed, notarised and apostilled before the marriage ceremony.
-Both parties should take independent legal advice. We will provide two independent solicitors to act on behalf of the bride and the groom.
-The couple should disclose their assets, financial positions, liabilities, pensions, debts etc prior the Agreement being prepared.
-The Agreement must clearly stipulate how the assets and properties will be treated in case of divorce or death. Think carefully about the terms and make the agreement as precise, clear and detailed as possible.
Situations can get complicated when a couple has a prenuptial or other marital agreement from one country and move to another with different laws and traditions. We book your date
We organise the available dates and times for the ceremony, pre-check your documents, do the necessary translations and reserve your hotel. You will have all documents approved by the Registry and accommodation arranged before you travel to Gibraltar.
You book your flight
Once you have everything confirmed you can book your flights. If required, we can arrange a private transfer from Malaga airport for you and your guests. The transfer price depends on the number of guests and vehicle type required.

You should visit the Registry office not later than 11:30am on any working day prior to the date of ceremony in order to present the original documents, apply for a Special Licence, and complete and swear the necessary affidavits. Our representative and a Commissioner for Oaths will meet you on that day and assist you with all formalities at the Registry.

Our representative will be with you on the day of the ceremony to make sure that everything is going smoothly. If you have booked witnesses with us, they will be waiting for you at the Registry office 10 minutes before the ceremony.
